What It Is
Speakable provides estimates of a student’s proficiency level based on ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) or WIDA (World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment) standards.
- ACTFL Estimates: Available as an optional feature for non-English languages. These estimates give students an idea of their proficiency level in the target language.
- WIDA Estimates: Available for English language activities, this feature helps assess English language proficiency according to WIDA standards.
How It Helps
These estimates provide a snapshot of the student’s language proficiency based on their response. However, it’s important to note that these are estimates and should not be considered official assessments.
