Unlike Practice Mode, feedback is provided only after the student has completed and submitted the entire assignment.
Creating the Assessment
When creating an assessment you have two options for when students will see their results.
- Immediately after submitting the Assessment
- After you review and Finalize the assessment.
If you want to review the results, adjust scores, and leave comments for students before they see the results, check this box when creating the assessment.
Completing the Assessment
After the student submits each question, they will see this awaiting feedback screen which displays the response they submitted.
Results Screen
Before the student's submit their assessment, they may review all their work and retry or complete any missing items. They will not see feedback, scores on their work, or their overall score.
After Submission
After submitting, student's will either see their results immediately (if you didn't check the box when creating the assessment) or after you review and Finalize the assessment in the assignment results screen.
Finalizing the Assessment
After student's have submitted their assessment, their scores will be "Pending Review" . You may optionally click on each card to review their submissions, adjust scores, and leave comments.
When you're done reviewing, click "Finalize" in the top left of the student's Assessment results.
Your students will now receive a notification that you have reviewed and finalized their Assessment. They will now be able to review the results, feedback and comments you left them.
